Situated in the north of the city, the Holiday Inn Tianjin (Tianjin jiari fandian), although up to the usual standards of Holiday Inn excellence, is a little out of the way. Near the Hai River, but not on the northern bank, at the intersection of Zhongshan Road and Tianwei Road, the hotel is a middle price range four star, close to the Notre Dames des Victoires cathedral.
It has 256 rooms, including studio and executive suites, and all are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, IDD telephone, internet access, minibar and 24 hour room service. Non-smoking floors are available. There are also fairly comprehensive services provided here from business facilities (a business center, a ballroom with 300 people seating capacity/audiovisual equipment and conference rooms) to well equipped recreational services(indoor pool, billiards, beauty salon, massage, sauna, steam bath and gym). For the more flush, and lazy, limousine hire is available, for the less so, bicycles can be rented. Money exchange and ticket reservation are as standard in the Holiday Inn range. (more…)
