The hotel is in the same building as the Poly Art Museum and Poly Theater, both of which are actually worth paying attention to, the former especially for its quite decent collection of Chinese classical antiquities.
It is also within short distance of the Sanlitun Embassy Area. Quite convenient to the airport and downtown by cab, though traffic demands that you always give yourself an extra half an hour to get where you’re going.
The hotel serves both Chinese and standard Western food. Chinese offerings include Shanghai and Hunan styles.
